Privacy Choices

Last updated: September 2026

This page explains the privacy choices available to you and how to exercise them. The rights that apply depend on where you live and which privacy laws apply to your use of IdGenum. For full detail on how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • obtain certain personal information in a portable format (portability / export);
  • withdraw biometric consent where applicable;
  • opt out of certain uses of personal information where required by law;
  • object to or restrict certain processing where applicable;
  • use an authorized agent where permitted by law; and
  • appeal certain decisions relating to a privacy request where applicable.

Withdrawing biometric consent is one of the choices available to enrolled users. For details on how biometric consent withdrawal works and its effects, see the Biometric Privacy Notice.

2. No Sale and No Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

IdGenum does not sell personal information and does not sell biometric information.

IdGenum does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this practice ever changes, we will update our disclosures and, where required, provide appropriate notice and choice before doing so.

3. Cookie Consent — FirstPromoter Referral Cookie

IdGenum uses one non-essential cookie: a referral/tracking cookie provided by FirstPromoter for our affiliate program. Its only purpose is affiliate referral attribution — crediting the affiliate who referred you. It does not collect, read, or transmit biometric or other identity information.

Because this cookie is non-essential, it is governed by our cookie-consent banner on an opt-in basis. You control it as follows:

  • Grant consent: choose Accept on the cookie-consent banner shown on your first visit to the public site. Until you accept, the FirstPromoter tracking script is not loaded and the cookie is not set.
  • Decline: choose Decline on the banner. The FirstPromoter referral cookie is not set.
  • Withdraw consent: you can withdraw previously granted consent at any time. After you withdraw, IdGenum stops setting the FirstPromoter referral cookie. To remove a cookie already stored in your browser, clear it through your browser settings.

Strictly necessary technologies — authentication, security, payment, and fraud-prevention — are not governed by this consent choice and continue to operate so the Service works. For full detail, see our Cookies & Similar Technologies notice.

4. How to Submit a Request

To exercise a privacy right, you can:

  • email us at privacy@idgenum.com; or
  • use the applicable privacy controls available through your IdGenum account.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will notify you if an extension is permitted and necessary.

We respect your privacy

Essential cookies that keep sign-in, payments, and fraud prevention working always run. With your permission, we also set one non-essential referral cookie from FirstPromoter so affiliates who send you here can be credited. You can change your choice anytime from Privacy Choices.
